Greece has dominated all the recent headlines as they lurch on the brink of economic and social disaster whilst Portugal progressively shows very welcome signs of improvement. In fact the Finance Minister is so confident that large enough reserves have been built up over the past months that the country is now in a position to pay back loans from the IMF much earlier than originally forecasted, saving millions in interest and sending out a strong, positive message with regards to the nation’s future.

This last week the Sterling has hit a record high against the Euro and doesn’t look like falling anytime soon, perfect for investors from the UK.
3) Building Plots at keen Prices
Despite the improvement in the country’s economic health the benefits are not yet being fully felt by property owners, some of whom remain desperate to sell, with bargain prices to be had for construction plots.
4) Affordable Construction
After years of little or no activity for even the top building firms, build prices have never been more competitive. We personally know excellent builders who are operating at cost just so they can keep the core of their workforce together. The same applies to engineers, architects etc. Prices have never been keener in this sector. Now is time to take advantage!

Now with three first-class golf courses in close proximity the Silver Coast is finally getting the recognition it deserves as a first rate golf destination.
